CULTURE GI 3 cr
The history of consumption and its
associated values, the study of subcultures
and their buying behaviors, and the effect
of consumer activism on the ways that
business operates will comprise the major
topics of the course. Discussion, writing,
and research will help students make the
material relevant to their own lives.
Prereq: 680-102 and 900-140.
940-246 BUSINESS ETHICS GI 3 cr
A critical examination and discussion of
ethical issues and problems which arise
within all areas of business. Topics such
as the morality of capitalism, ethics in the
marketplace, business and the
environment, and the ethics of job
discrimination will be considered.
