The accounting program at UW-Whitewater is designed to prepare accounting majors to begin their career as professional accountants in any area of their choice: public accounting, industrial accounting, or governmental accounting. The accounting program is accredited by the Wisconsin Accounting Examining Board. The graduate and undergraduate programs are also accredited by AACSB. Graduates are qualified to sit for the Certified Public Accountant examination and all other professional accounting certification examinations.
