    1. Change in Social Studies-Broadfield Political Science Emphasis I including a name change FROM Political Science Social Studies-Broadfield Political Science Emphasis I TO Political Science with Broadfield Social Studies Emphasis. (This change reflects an effort to simplify and standardize teacher education in the department of Political Science by revising this emphasis and deleting Political Science Social Studies-Broadfield Political Science Emphasis II [see deletion proposal below]).
    2. Deletion of Political Science Social Studies - Broadfield Political Science Emphasis II. (See above).
  6. History
    1. Course revision diversity option for HISTRY 125 "American History Since 1877." (The first half of the American History survey course (HISTRY 124) was updated and revised to reflect new historical scholarship effective Spring 2006. That curriculum revision added Diversity credit to the HISTRY 124 course. This curricular change proposal will complete the department’s update to the American History survey sequence, bringing a wealth of new scholarship on race and ethnicity into the second half of the American History survey (HISTRY 125).

    2. Add CHEM 455 "Advanced Organic Chemistry" to the Chemistry-Professional ACE Approved Emphasis.
