Course/ Teacher Evaluations (CTE)

• Most faculty have a "positive" attitude about participating in the evaluation process.
• The majority of faculty report that they use the ratings to help improve their teaching, but need additional help in making such changes.
• CTE should be accompanied by some sort of peer review process.
• Students don't put enough thought into the evaluations.
• Using CTE in personnel decisions is appropriate.
