Services 2006-2007 Placement Data
The
data presented in Table I and Table II relates year 2007
baccalaureate degree graduates. You will notice that there are
two separate tables of data.
Purpose
of the Data
In
accordance with federal regulations, the following UW-Whitewater
placement data is being provided to all students.
Students
are urged to seek assistance with career related decisions.
UW-Whitewater Career Services offers career counseling and advice
to all concerned students. Also, placement data covering each
UW-Whitewater program and academic major is available at the
following offices: Deans, Admissions, Financial Aid, Career
Services, and all academic department offices.
Placement
& Salary Data
TABLE I:
This data, which covers a minimum of 50% of UW-Whitewater graduates
and their programs, represents the average salary and placement
rate for year 2007 graduates. The category "Percent Placed"
stands for those graduates who actually were available for employment.
A "Placed Graduate" is one who has reported employment, admittance
to graduate school, or entrance into the military. Salary figures
are drawn from randomly selected UW-Whitewater graduates and,
if necessary, national survey data. See

TABLE 2: This
data applies to education majors who were placed in teaching
positions. Percentages reflect graduates directly involved in
education: full-time teachers, aides, and substitutes, and related
occupations. See table 2
