The Project ASSIST computer lab is small but mighty! We have a lab monitor on duty from 7:45 a.m. - 9:00 p.m.
Monday - Thursday and 7:45 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. on Fridays. The computer lab is located adjacent to the main office
area, tutoring area, and office spaces of the program staff. This computer lab is an integral part of
the program where student can complete projects, work on assignments while interacting with their
tutors and staff. Lab monitors are trained to provide support to the students by using the assistive
technology programs available:
- Kurzweil:
www.kurzweil.com
Lab monitors can scan text (to be used with Kurzweil) if requested a few days
prior to use. Request slips can be found in the computer lab. * An online
book list can be accessed for uploading text already added to the server. A
request for access to this link can be made at the Project ASSIST office
