Our lab monitors keep the Project ASSIST computer lab running smoothly. They are
trained on using assistive technology and other programs we have available in order to best help the
students.

Project ASSIST students may request to receive tutoring for their classes.
The tutors are undergraduate/graduate students who have a minimum of sophomore standing and a 3.0
or higher GPA. The tutors complete training that consists of learning various study skills and
strategies that can be implemented with the students. The tutors may focus on one course, or on
a student's whole academic schedule. Established guidelines facilitate the effectiveness of the
tutor-student relationship.
