Barbara Monfils gave the committe an update on the ACT writing exam requirement.  Only UW Whitewater and UW Madison will make this a requirement.  Since there is not yet in place an opportunity for students who have already taken the ACT to take the writing exam only, UW Whitewater will delay enforcing this requirement.
Barbara Monfils expressed her appreciation to the committee for their conscientious work throughout the past year.

The meeting was adjourned at 2:30 p.m. on a Stuart Glosser/Anne Hamilton motion.

Respectfully submitted,

Leslie Meyer
