Barbara Monfils led the discussion as to how general education can address the gender issues to abide by the following action taken at the April 8, 2003 Faculty Senate meeting. Resolved that the Faculty Senate request that General Education course reviews require that course reports include explanation of how curriculum content incorporates scholarship in the appropriate field relating to women and gender.-  Katy Heyning moved that a question be added to the Audit & Review self study form as to how the program of study addresses gender issues.  This could be done by amending the diversity question to specifically include gender.  Simone DeVore seconded the motion.  The motion passed.

The meeting was adjourned at 2:45 p.m on a Wilfred Tremblay/Scott Bradley motion.

Respectfully submitted,

Leslie Meyer
