About the Program

This major provides a great number of options. If you are a results oriented person who likes to have a direct role in the creation of goods and services, you have found your match. If you have analytical skills and want to go into consulting, we provide the necessary training. If you like working with computers, we can provide career paths to engineering and e-commerce applications. If you are a people person and want to manage relations between companies, the supply chain option is available. Our program has high standards, provides a solid education and will help you develop as you progress up the corporate ladder. Two emphases are available: supply chain management, and e-operations. All OM majors are strongly encouraged to include working internships as components of their course of study. Students are also encouraged to pursue American Production and Inventory Control Society (APICS) and American Society for Quality Control (ASQ).
