Pre Algebra
A review course for students with limited math background and who score
low on their ACT. This course covers fractions, percents, proportions,
and solving linear equations.
Beginning Algebra
A review course in solving linear and quadratic equations, rational expressions,
factoring, polynomials, graphing, square and cube roots and solving word
problems.
College Reading
A course to help students develop attitudes, competencies, and habits
that will allow him/her to cope with college-level reading assignments,
texts, and materials.
Basic Writing
A workshop offering individualized instruction in basic writing skills.
Study/Academic Survival Skills
A course with emphasis on time management, learning strategies, integrating
material from lectures and textbooks, critical thinking, library research
skills, preparing for exams, and using classroom related technology and
software.
