LaMont Weaver is a native of Beloit, Wisconsin.  He attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison where he majored in Elementary Education and minored in African American Studies.  Mr. Weaver received his Masters of Arts Degree from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls in Guidance and Counseling and has been a member of the UW-Whitewater community for over 20 years.  During that time he has served on several committees, taught classes, and directed a number of programs and projects from athletics to administration.  He is currently the Executive Director of Student Retention Services and the Director of Academic Standards.  LaMont is also an active member of his community through the Boys and Girls Club of America, National Cancer Foundation, the United Way, and several other service organizations.  LaMont Weaver is committed to providing opportunity through education.
