Richard McGregory Jr. is currently Director of the McNair Scholars Program and a Lecturer in the Economics Department. He has also previously served in the following capacities at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater: Academic Counselor, Educational Opportunity Program; Interim Director, Upward Bound Program; Lecturer, Department of Mathematics. Richard has a BBA in Marketing from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh as well as an MBA in Marketing/Management from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. He recently received his Ph.D. in Economics at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. RichardÂ’s professional involvement includes the following: Treasurer, Research Association of Minority Professors; Member, Mid-America Association of Educational Opportunity Programs (MAEOPP); Faculty Advisory Committee, National Black Student Union; Member, Global Awareness Society. Finally, his hobbies include golf, tennis, jazz music, and theater.
