Airfare Purchases
The State has contracted with Fox World Travel for on-line booking of airfare. No other site may be used for purchasing tickets on-line until this site has been checked for prices. If another site is found with prices for the exact same flight, including all taxes and booking fees, for $100 or more less than the Concur price, a ticket may be purchased from that site. Documentation of the cost from the Fox World booking software (Concur) must be printed within one hour of purchase and attached to the travel voucher along with the purchased ticket receipt and itinerary to show the price was cheaper for the same flight.
USE OF ORBITZ IS NOT ALLOWED for purchase or comparison, they have been added to the list of disallowed vendors for the State.
Tickets purchased through the Fox World software (Concur) have other benefits that are not available with tickets purchased elsewhere (frequent flyer miles, insurance, customer support, etc). See UWSA Travel Management website for more info about the booking tool. This booking tool should be used whenever possible for on-line ticket purchases.
