Leave Benefits - Leave for Jury Duty
If you are called to jury duty during a period when you are regularly scheduled to work, you are not required to use vacation time to cover your absence. You will receive your regular salary in addition to any pay that you are entitled to as a juror. If you are not impaneled for actual service, and only on call, you shall report back to work unless authorized by your supervisor to be absent from your work assignment. You should submit a statement from the Clerk of Courts indicating the dates and times of the appearances with your timesheet. Check your union contract for specific provisions relating to time off from work for jury duty.
