UW-W Authorized Driver List

      UW-W Authorized Driver List

The UW-W Authorized Driver List contains all authorized drivers for the UW-Whitewater campus who are approved to drive on University business, including faculty and staff, students, and volunteers.

The list will be current as of the date at the top of the document.  If the name you are searching for is not on the list, the person may not be authorized or the authorization may be pending.  Contact Risk Management and Safety via email riskmgmt@uww.edu if further verification is needed.

      Helpful Hints:

      • When you click on the link, the driver list will open as a .pdf document.  On your keyboard, press the (CTRL) key and the letter (F) to open the "Find" window.  In the "Find" window, type in the last name of the person you wish to find and press (Enter) on your keyboard or click (Next) with your mouse.
      • Keep in mind that some driver's use hyphenated names.  Either name should be searchable by using the CTRL F function.
      • If you are searching for a common last name, continue pressing Enter or clicking Next to search through all of the common names.
      • Out of state license holders will be listed with a state abbreviation behind their last name.  The state abbreviation does not need to be included when searching.

Employee Authorizations:    Once approved, employees do not need to annually submit a Driver Authorization Form.  Employee authorization ends when the employee driver fails to meet the minimum driving standards, when Risk Management & Safety is notified to inactivate, or when employment is terminated.  If an employee leaves and then returns, a new Driver Authorization Form will need to be submitted for processing.

Student Authorizations: Expire annually on May 31st. After May 31st, a new Driver Authorization Form will need to be submitted to Risk Management and Safety for review to determine eligibility.

Agent/Volunteer Authorizations: Are authorized for their term of service and may be authorized for a maximum of one year. After expiration of term, a new Driver Authorization Form will need to be submitted to Risk Management and Safety for review to determine eligibility.

It is the employing department's responsibility to notify the Risk Management & Safety office of terminated or retiring employees, on a regular basis.
