If all the paperwork is received (FAFSA, Award Letter, Entrance Counseling, and Promissory Note) and all edits are met, financial aid disburses directly to the student’s account no more than 10 days prior to the start of school. Any overpayments are refunded either via the e-Refund process that is set up on the e-Bill/e-Refund web site or mailed to the student. Overpayments for parent plus loans will be mailed to the borrower.
Students receiving financial aid are subject to the same payment due dates. Delays in financial aid could result in your account becoming past due and finance charges could be added to your balance.
If an account has a past due balance from a prior academic year, a Financial Aid hold will be placed on your account and Federal financial aid will not disburse until the past due balance is paid in full. Other types of aid can be used to pay a prior term, but only after it has satisfied any balance in the current term.
