Welcome to UW-W! My name is Tessa Perchinsky and I have been an academic advisor since 2004. My favorite part of advising is getting to know the students and assisting them in developing their academic and career goals, and giving them strategies for academic success. Before joining the AAEC family, I was an Admission Counselor for UW-Whitewater and visited students in Illinois, Iowa, and Minnesota.

I grew up in North Dakota where I attended high school and college. I then moved to South Dakota for graduate school. My husband and I have been working at UW-Whitewater and living in Whitewater since 2003. We love Wisconsin!

When I am not at work, my favorite thing to do is spend time with my daughter and husband. I also enjoy gardening, reading, and traveling. You will also see me at many Warhawk athletic events.

Education: B.S. Business Administration and B.S. Human Resources, Valley City State University, North Dakota, 2001; Master of Business Administration , University of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, 2003.
