Faces of Freedom Summer
Herbert Randall, a talented African-American and Native American photographer, will be visiting UW-Whitewater. Randall's work documents African-American life and culture, and in the summer of 1964, he photographed the Mississippi Freedom Summer project in Hattiesburg, Miss. His photographs are featured in an exhibition and book called Faces of Freedom Summer. The exhibit runs through March 23.

Warhawks featured prominently in WIAC artwork
To celebrate its 100th anniversary, the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference commissioned artwork by photo-realism artist Tim Cortes. All nine WIAC members and a number of sports are represented in this masterpiece, including the defending football national champion Warhawks. Reproductions of the original artwork are available.

Located at the south end of Andersen Library, the area features a computer lab with smart board technology, seminar room with white board walls and a video projector, kitchen, student workspace, faculty offices, study lounge and art gallery.
