Amy’s connection to UW-Whitewater started when she came to study marketing and received her BBA in 1990. She continued to promote the best business school in Wisconsin whenever she could recommend it to prospective students.

After a career in the retail marketing industry, she was ready to make a career shift into the nonprofit world. She jumped at an opportunity to reconnect with UW-Whitewater through a digital philanthropy manager role. She immediately felt back at home working with the amazing members of the philanthropy and Foundation teams.

In 2020, she was promoted to director of alumni relations. While leading the alumni engagement strategy, she gets to meet many of our fascinating alums at events like Homecoming and the annual Founders Day Alumni Awards Celebration. Hearing their stories and how much the university has impacted their lives makes all her work worthwhile.

She is happy to have found a second career supporting the Warhawk family. Every day she gets to see how alumni and donors make an impact on student success through the UW- Whitewater Foundation.

Amy met her husband, Glen, as students here at UW-Whitewater and moved back to Whitewater in 2020. You will see them cheering on Warhawk athletic teams and at many other activities on campus and in the community.
