Introduction
The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater renews their commitment to the maintenance of a safe and secure environment for students to live and learn and faculty and staff to teach and serve with the UW-W Annual Security and Fire Safety Report.
In November 1990, the Student Right-to-Know and Campus Security Act was signed into law (Public Law 101-542). On July 23, 1992 the Higher Education Amendments of 1992 added the mandate to provide information that impacts the Student Right-to-Know and Campus Security Act to students, faculty and staff and the public at large in a timely way. The UW-W Annual Security and Fire Safety Report is UW-Whitewater's response to that requirement. The information in this publication is a summary of data gathered from campus offices.
UW-Whitewater is proud of the men and women who work to ensure campus safety and student success. Please feel free to contact any of the offices listed in this publication for additional information or suggestions that may enhance the service.
