SCHEDULE OF CLASSES

Before you register for classes you may want to check out the courses that are being offered. To take a look at current course offerings as well as certain future terms/semesters offerings, go to the Registrar's Office webpage to view the Schedule of Classes. The Schedule of Classes identifies classes being offered online and also evening classes beginning 4:45 p.m. and after.
To be eligible to register for classes you must first be admitted. If you have not yet been admitted please go to Getting Started. Once you have been admitted to the university, the next step would be to register for a Plan-It Purple orientation/registration and advising program. At this program you will have the opportunity to meet with other students, meet with an academic advisor and register for classes.
UW-Whitewater operates on a term/semester schedule, offering fall, spring, summer, and Winterim courses. Short-term courses, referred to as session courses, are offered during the fall, spring, and summer terms/semesters. See the current course offerings and academic calendar for term and session dates as well as university policies and deadlines for adding and dropping classes.
There are WINS tutorials* available to assist you with registering for classes. You can also watch an online video on How to Register for Classes.
