Music Ensemble to Perform at Carnegie Hall

Prestigious commission for original work

Professor Herriott was awarded a commission to create a new evening-length work from the Barlow Endowment for Music Composition at Brigham Young University. He was among six composers nationwide who received general commissions.

Cutting Edge

Department of Art and Design Faculty member, Xiaohong Zhang, will be featured in a side-by-side solo exhibition at the James Watrous Gallery located in the Overture Center in Madison, WI through October 10.

Prof. Zhang is a first-generation Chinese immigrant from Hubei Province, uses the traditional art of paper-cutting to create large-scale work that is both personal and deeply political.
