Yvonne Ostermann
There’s always room for a little bit more…
Between twin sons, a daughter, and starting her own business Yvonne Ostermann has a lot on her plate, but has somehow found room to become the newest member of the College of Arts and Communication Advisory Board.
Yvonne graduated from the University of Wisconsin – Whitewater in 1989 with Graphic Design Major and an Art history minor. While finishing her senior year of college, she took a job with Johnson Hill Press where "…they gave me a Macintosh computer, and basically told me to figure out how they could use it for their magazine business…" she said in a recent interview.
After working for a few years in Chicago as a graphics designer, Yvonne moved back to the Milwaukee area in 1992 and decided to launch MacPros, Inc. (now named C2) a full service support agency for Macintosh professionals.
After closing that chapter of her career in 2002, Yvonne is currently focused on her family, many volunteer commitments and another business she started that provides graphics and accounting paperwork for silent auctions held by nonprofits.
