The Bradley Trust Endowment for Visiting Artists

Helen Humphrey Bradley Trust

Helen Bradley, née Humphrey, graduated from the Whitewater Normal School in 1910.  She taught school and married, eventually settling in Connecticut.  Helen Bradley kept strong ties to Whitewater, and upon her death in 1991 a trust was created for which the University of Wisconsin – Whitewater was a beneficiary.  In 1997 during the university’s Excellence for the 21st Century Campaign the gift was received and designated to support the Visiting Artist’s program in the College of Arts and Communication, one of the goals of the campaign. 

The College of Arts and Communication, and the University of Wisconsin – Whitewater deeply appreciate the thoughtfulness and foresight that led to the creation of this endowment.
