Funded by an anonymous donor, the Faculty Initiatives in International/Intercultural Research, Scholarship and Teaching (FIIRST) Fund was created to support University of Wisconsin - Whitewater faculty initiatives in international and intercultural studies.

The FIIRST Fund provides opportunities for faculty to work on projects with an intercultural perspective, bringing a global view to the classroom and enhancing students’ understanding of the world around them.
