Department of Art + Design
The Painting program is structured to give the student a well-rounded experience in the studio practices associated with the mediums of acrylic, watercolor and oil paint. Beginning level painting courses place on emphasis on technical manipulation of materials while upper level courses such as the repeatable Advanced Painting is designed to help the student explore and develop their own individual artistic and aesthetic voice. Individualized studies with area faculty are also available.
