The 1500 square foot ventilated Painting Studio is located on the second floor, room 2058 in the northwest corner of the Center for the Arts. This well-light studio is illuminated with natural light from the north-facing windows. Recent studio upgrades include track/spot lighting capabilities that enhance the studio equipped standard lighting (color balanced fluorescence). This studio is equipped with a ventilated spray-booth, community and individual locker space, 20 moveable work/table spaces and 20 adjustable wood and metal easels. It has basic power tools (2 electric miter saws, drills, hand jigsaws...) and other equipment for building canvases and panel substrates. Additional woodworking tools (lathe, table saw, planer, sander, router ...) are available in the wood shop located in the Sculpture studio on first floor of the Center for the Arts.
