Introduction

The UW-Whitewater Communication Department is on the cutting edge of new multimedia technologies. Check out the list of unique major/minor combinations available. One such program, Multimedia Arts and Game Development, will be introduced in Fall 2010 and will feature programs on video production, web development, and business production. New classes are being offered and we interviewed Elena Bertozzi and Spencer Stuart regarding these exciting new developments. We also interviewed communication instructor Jay Craggs, addressing his career in audio and audio production at UW-Whitewater.

In addition, many tech/multimedia opportunities are available to students on campus, such as: audio studios, media labs, and equipment available for check-out at the university library. Outside opportunities include internships and practicums focusing in Multimedia and Communications. Furthermore, this online magazine also has a space to spotlight outstanding student work.
