Planned Giving

Heritage

The Heritage Society is a fellowship of UW-Whitewater alumni and friends who have made plans for an estate gift. These noble gifts not only provide a lasting legacy for the university, but are also an important way to help the UW-Whitewater Foundation build a strong endowment for the future.

Planned gifts can benefit the giver by reducing estate, gift, and/or current income taxes, in addition to serving as an opportunity to satisfy other financial goals. A planned gift can also serve as a way to honor a friend of the university through naming.

A charitable gift should be carefully planned according to your personal needs and goals, and with consideration of your assets and charitable interests. If you are considering establishing a planned gift to benefit UW-Whitewater, a member of the Foundation’s staff or a college director of development would be glad to assist you.
