Robin Fellows is Professor of Flute at The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. He is the principal flutist of The Wisconsin Chamber Orchestra and the Woodstock (IL) Mozart Festival Orchestra, and plays second flute and piccolo in the Milwaukee Ballet Orchestra. He has performed on multiple occasions as a soloist with the Wisconsin Chamber Orchestra, the Woodstock Mozart Festival Orchestra, the Knoxville Chamber Orchestra and the Ensemble Philomusica and has performed many times on "Live From The Chazen" over Wisconsin Public Radio. Dr. Fellows previously taught at Tennessee Technological University, Northwestern University and Connecticut College. As a member of the Cumberland Quintet, Fellows performed numerous artist series and at Carnegie Hall, in Brussels, Antwerp and Amsterdam, and on their first CD recording. He was previously a member of the Knoxville Symphony Orchestra, and United States Coast Guard Band and has performed with various other orchestras including the Skylight Opera of Milwaukee, Bel Canto of Milwaukee, the Nashville and the Madison Symphony Orchestras. Dr. Fellows has performed at eight National Flute Association Conventions and judged many N.F.A. competitions. He has presented numerous recitals and master classes at Universities across the country. Dr. Fellows's flute teachers include Walfrid Kujala, Maurice Sharp, Joseph Mariano and Donald Macdonald. He has published articles in The Flutist Quarterly and Flute Talk and has recorded for Marc Records and Audio for the Arts. He can be heard as principal flutist on three CDs with the Wisconsin Chamber Orchestra and on his solo disc entitled 20th Century Music for Flute which received excellent reviews.
