The EGG lab, directed by Elena Bertozzi, is a place for students, faculty and the broader Wisconsin community to come together and create compelling interactive media. Our goal is to produce games and other interactive media products which solve interesting problems. Contact us if we can develop a project with you. Our students and faculty are always looking for new challenges.
We completed this tool to help high school biology teachers get their students interested in frogs in Decempber 2009. The game uses wonderful illustrations and audio to make players want to help Wisconsin frogs find mates. We are ready to ship the completed game to biology teachers. Email us if you'd like Matt to come to your school and demonstrate how it will make high school students want to learn about frogs.
Did you know that a lot of kids show up for Little League softball without knowing the rules? Our game teaches them the rules at home so that coaches can focus on actually playing softball. Umpire Tex Walker shows players how to play the game. Animations and audio clearly explain some of the more complicated aspects of gameplay. Get your orders in now!
This game is currently under development. We are developing this project for the OshKosh online nursing program and for potential use by communities who don't have enough doctors to assist women giving birth. The player will have to help a woman who is going into labor deliver the baby without professional assistance. Help! Don't drop the baby!
