Dr. Chung, Associate Professor of Music, has won many piano competitions, including the 1977 William Kapell International Piano competition. She has presented many solo recitals in the United States, Mexico and East Asia. Currently a member of the UW-Whitewater Trio, she previously performed in the Southwest US and Mexico with the Seraphin Trio. She appeared as concerto soloist with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, Baltimore Symphony Orchestra, Chicago Chamber Orchestra, Portland Symphony Orchestra, New Philharmonic, The Julliard Symphony and Seoul Philharmonic. She holds the B.M. and M.M from The Julliard School of Music; and the DMA from the Manhattan School of Music. She is a WMEA Executive Board member.Classes Taught
