Biography
As a native of the Milwaukee area, Geoffrey has played both oboe and English horn with many southeastern Wisconsin orchestras, including the Milwaukee Ballet Orchestra, Bel Canto Chorus Orchestra in Milwaukee, and the Wisconsin Chamber Orchestra in Madison. Currently, Geoffrey is Principal Oboe of both the Racine and Manitowoc Symphonies and plays English horn in the Waukesha, Beloit-Janesville, and Festival City Symphonies. In addition to her teaching duties at UWW, she also teaches at Beloit College, and Cardinal Stritch University. She is also an active chamber musician, performing with the Whitewater Woodwind Quintet during the school year and the Semplice Harbor Faculty Wind Quintet in the summer.
