A native of Allentown, Pennsylvania, trumpeter Jeffrey Wohlbach enjoys a diverse career as a commercial player, chamber musician, and educator.  Jeffrey teaches applied trumpet, and is a member of the Whitewater Brass Quintet.

Jeffrey’s performance credits include touring the 50 US States, Japan, Greece and France with the World Famous Glenn Miller Orchestra.  He was a member of the National Broadway Tour of Meredith Wilson’s The Music Man, and 42nd Street. 

Additionally he has performed and recorded with the Spoleto Festival Orchestra (Italy), Bethlehem Bach Festival Orchestra, and the Allentown Symphony Orchestra.  Local performances include the Wisconsin Chamber Orchestra, Dubuque Symphony, Madison Opera, and the Madison Mellophonium Orchestra.

As an educator, Jeffrey has maintained active trumpet studios in both Pennsylvania and Wisconsin, and served on the faculty at Elizabethtown College, Elizabethtown, PA.  His students from Sun Prairie High School were twice voted “Most Outstanding Trumpet Section” of the 2009 & 2011 Essentially Ellington Festival hosted by Wynton Marsalis in New York.

His teachers include John Aley, Mark Gould, Raymond Mase, and Lawrence Wright.
