The Chamber Orchestra is a select group based on models set in the eighteenth and nineteenth century. The group performs works from the Baroque through to the present day. Great emphasis is placed on chamber music skills as this orchestra performs both with and without a conductor.

Membership in the chamber orchestra is open to the student body through audition. Participation in the Chamber Orchestra requires concurrent participation in the Symphony Orchestra. Highlights of the 2007-2008 concert season will include Shotakovich's Chamber Symphony op. 110a and Elgar's Serenade for Strings.

Weekly rehearsal schedule is on Tuesdays from 5:45 - 7:25 PM.
