S-Nats is a student chapter of the National Association of Teachers of Singing. It encourages the high standards of singing through excellennce in teaching and the promotion of voice education and research. Members participate in state and regional competitions, and professional development activities. The UW-Whitewater chapter sponsors three to four events each semester, generally bringing a guest artist or professional to campus each semester. Anyone interested in singing excellence or pedagogy is invited to join. Student members have access to the Journal of Singing at a reduced rate.
