Charles Marlow has a problem. Whenever he encounters a beautiful, well-bred lady, he becomes a tongue-tied fool. Therefore, when he tries to woo Kate Hardcastle, their first meeting is a complete disaster. Kate decides to takes matter into her own hands by disguising herself as a bar maid in order to help Marlow achieve his goal of winning her heart. Mistaken identities, practical jokes, and love tangles have made this satirical, romantic comedy of errors an enduring favorite. Initially titled Mistakes of the Night, seeing a performance of this fun-filled farce is sure to be anything but a mistake!
