American Indian Studies deals with the history and traditions of Native Americans.
Special attention is given to current issues and events relevant to conditions in
Wisconsin today.

611-102 INTRODUCTION TO AMERICAN INDIAN STUDIES DIVERSITY 3 cr
An interdisciplinary introduction to the history, literature, art, and religion of
Native Americans designed for students seeking a basic understanding of American
Indians. Emphasis will be given to the contemporary scene.
