Youth Boys Soccer Camp
Youth Camp - July 12-15, 2015
Grades 4-9 (Ages 9-14)
This is a boys youth camp that will be divided into training groups based on age and skill level to provide a competitive learning environment for campers of all ages and abilities. Camp will focus on the technical and tactical aspects of the game through training exercises and small sided games. Goalkeeper specific training will be offered daily to those players interested.
The Warhawk Youth and Girls Soccer Camps are designed to develop and enhance the well-rounded player. The Soccer Camps combine a strong emphasis on individual skills along with advanced team tactics for both field players and goalkeepers. In the morning, field players will receive technical training in the areas of dribbling, passing, receiving and finishing, while goalkeepers will receive position specific technical training by our goalkeeper coaching staff. Individual creativity is strongly encouraged among our campers to produce confidence while playing the game of soccer. The afternoon schedule concentrates on the tactical development of the individual player. Each tactical session will conclude with a 8v8 or 11v11 tournament match allowing players the opportunity to apply the tactical lessons in a game setting with further instruction on team tactics and strategies provided by a team coach. Each evening session will entail small-sided games allowing each player to utilize the skills learned throughout the day. In addition to field instruction, the Warhawk Youth and Girls Soccer Camp provides opportunities for campers to further advance their understanding of the game through a series of lectures, question-and-answer sessions, and the latest films and videos.
