Implementing Educator Effectiveness: Beyond Teachscape Certification
3 COURSE SERIES FOR BUILDING PRINCIPAL
This course is designed to enhance the professional knowledge of administrators who supervise and evaluate teachers to improve the effectiveness of all staff working to support student growth. Participants will be working collaboratively to develop a strong feedback system and professional development model that promotes collective efficacy. This course is for administrators with, or currently working on, Teachscape Certification. The course is taught over 3 courses, of 2 credits each, in the summer and fall of 2014, and the spring of 2015.

Objectives by Course
Summer 2014 (2 Credits): Develop proficency in teacher evalutation and demonstrate application of evaluations to professional development. Develop peer groups that will support work throughout the year. Meeting dates are 8/4/14, 8/15/14, and 8/23/14.
Fall 2014 (2 Credits): Developing a professional development model that helps teachers be effective with EEPs, and supports collaboration and collective efficacy among teachers to meet goals. Meeting dates are 9/13/14, 10/4/14, 10/18/14, and 11/8/14.
Spring 2015 (2 Credits): Refining professional development plans and teacher effectiveness, through collaboration with peers. Meeting dates are 1/31/15, 2/14/15, 2/28/15, and 3/7/15.
$212.73 per credit. Two credits are earned for each course. Administrators may take one, two, or all three courses.
