 Portfolio requirement: Assemble examples from your workplace that reflect your skill development from each selected course. Continuing Ed consultants will guide you through this process.

 Upon  completion of coursework required for the Certificate in Effective Communication, you will be able to:

  1. Use oral, written, and nonverbal communication to effectively serve stakeholders.
  2. Solve problems and overcome challenges by implementing various communication techniques.
  3. Demonstrate the use of communication strategies to interact with people from diverse backgrounds and in a variety of settings.

This certificate program is a good fit for people in a wide variety of fields: administrative assistant, office manager, customer service, facilities, and custodial.
