1+3 Program at UW-Whitewater

A strategic way to earn a bachelor’s degree in 3 years.

The 1+3 program utilizes existing AP classes and UW-Whitewater PIE curriculum; high school students not only earn college credit, but also have a pathway for degree completion in 3 years.

Students can earn up to 30 college credits and save an estimated $13,680 that count toward a bachelor’s degree.

By completing a bachelor’s degree in 3 years, students can enter the job market sooner and increase their lifetime earning potential.

Students may choose to stay at the university for four years in order to participate in additional college experiences such as study abroad, internships, undergraduate research or other course work outside their major.
