Tanisha Lanae

Tanisha is a native Chicagoan who learned to cook on a budget while living for more than eight years in the Netherlands. Her goal is to create food that is hearty and flavorful but also has a conscience. Tanisha says, "I like (love) cake as much as the next person so if swapping out half of the butter for fruit, or replacing it with coconut oil, will give me a few extra years to eat cake, then that's what I'll do."
