Mindfulness and Meditation

Each lecture/discussion will close with a 30 minute meditation. Class size is limited to 16 students. You may bring your own yoga mat  This event is available to adults only.

  • Class A - March 6: Mindful Communication - concluded
  • Class B - March 13: Mindful Living
  • Class C - March 20: Mindfulness and Nature

Fee: $15 per individual session

Attend All Sessions Discount:  Receive $5 off your registration if you register to attend all three sessions.  Make sure to use promo code ATTENDINGALL at check out.  Discounts cannot be applied after you register and pay.  You will be charged $5 if you do not attend all sessions.

Early cancellations will receive a full refund minus $10 cancellation fee if the cancellation is requested 7 days prior to the camp. NO REFUNDS will be given for no shows.  All cancellation requests must be submitted to cesevents@uww.edu; provide registrant's name and event title.  Refunds will be returned to name and address of payer.

You can sponsor a registrant and cover all or partial fees. We have received requests in the past from schools, companies, organizations, friends and family members that would like to send their chosen registrant to a specific event. Class Description

Mindful communication: Learn and discuss ways to practice mindfulness in your daily communications.  Be aware of the small ways we can engage ourselves and others in meaningful conversation and use that to develop deeper conversations and relationships.

Mindful Living: Learn and discuss ways to show and live in gratitude in your everyday life.  Reveal opportunity based on adjusting your perception towards positivity.  Encourage more grateful experiences, expressions, and ways to nurture our most positive life.

Mindfulness and Nature: Learn and discuss ways to show a deeper appreciation for nature and ways that it can benefit your life.  Make moments in your life to pause and appreciate the wonders of nature.  Start or continue a gratitude journal, and track experiences of gratitude.


Check-in will take place in at Hyatt Smith Fireplace Lounge at 5:00 p.m. with Molly Cook.

Free parking is available in campus lots except in areas reserved for faculty and staff as well as on the streets near the campus. Parking on campus is regulated by the Rock County Sheriff’s Department.
