  • Examining the basic tenets of Somatic Experiencing
  • Understanding how “The Body Bears the Burden”
  • Developing an understanding of somatic experiencing and how it provides an opportunity for a bodily shift towards health
  • Understanding underlying concepts of body work from Peter Levine’s (Somatic Experiencing) and Pat Ogden’s (Sensori-Motor therapy) perspectives

  • Develop an understanding of the basic components of EMDR
  • Increase understanding of the Adaptive Information Processing connected with EMDR
  • Examine the development of Brainspotting
  • Develop an understanding of the basic mechanisms of Brainspotting
  • Learn about potential underlying mechanisms which support a shift to a healthier approach to life.
