Integrating Technical Writing into Science Investigations and Discovery:

  • Learn how to incorporate informative, expository, and technical writing into science K-12.
  • Writing not only is an important method of learning science content, but science provides an ideal opportunity for students to improve their non-narrative (story) writing skills.
  • This workshop will feature strategies such as using science notebooks, designing and writing original procedures for inquiry-based experiments, and research papers.
