Greetings,

Welcome to UW-Whitewater, one of Wisconsin's best regional comprehensive universities. For 140 years, UW-Whitewater has provided students with the education and training to begin their careers with a solid foundation behind them.

We began as a normal school and have grown into a university with four colleges: College of Business and Economics, College of Letters and Sciences, College of Education and the College of Arts and Communication.

Our students are mentored by faculty who have found a delicate balance between research and teaching. Our students get involved in campus organizations, the arts, athletics and in the community. They are eager to learn, to work and to experience the world.

I believe students who choose UW-Whitewater receive more than just a typical education. For many talented students, they pick UW-Whitewater because they can be involved in many areas of campus life. Those choices give them a chance to be multifaceted. Our students don't have to specialize and I think that is why students choose Division III athletics and our kind of theatre and dance because they have the opportunity to participate in many facets of campus life.
