Kenneth W. Borland, Jr. is the interim president of East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania in East Stroudsburg, Penn. Prior to this role he served as provost (2004-07) and associate provost (2001-04). Borland has a bachelor's degree from Toccoa Falls College in Toccoa Falls, Ga., a master's degree in education from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas and a Ph.D. in adult education and higher education from The Pennsylvania State University in University Park, Penn.

John William Folkins is the chief executive officer of the Bowling Green State University Research Institute, a position he has held since 2007. Prior to this appointment he served as provost and vice president for academic affairs at Bowling Green from 2000-2007. From July 1997 to April 2000, Folkins served as associate provost for undergraduate education at the University of Iowa. He has a bachelor's and master's degree from the University of Redlands in Redlands, Calif., as well as a Ph.D. from the University of Washington in Seattle, Wash.

Alfred J. Guillaume, Jr. is the vice chancellor for academic affairs at Indiana University South Bend in South Bend, Ind. Prior to this role, he served as provost and vice president for academic affairs as well as a professor of French at Humboldt State University in Arcata, Calif. Guillaume has a bachelor's degree from Xavier University of Louisiana and a master's and Ph.D. from Brown University. He has also studied at Bryn Mawr College Institut D'Etudes Francaises d'Avignon, Vanderbilt University, McGill University in Montreal and Universidad Internacional de Mexico in Saltillo, Coahuila.

Nancy Kleniewski is the provost and vice president for academic affairs at Bridgewater State College in Bridgewater, Mass. Prior to this position, she served as the dean of fine arts, humanities and social sciences as well as a professor of sociology from 1996-2002 at the University of Massachusetts Lowell. Kleniewski has a bachelor's degree in sociology and behavioral sciences from Emmanuel College and a master's and Ph.D in sociology from Temple University.

Richard J. Telfer is the interim chancellor at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and has served in this role since June 2007. Prior to this, he served as provost and vice chancellor from 2002-2007 and associate vice chancellor from 1997-2002. He has a bachelor's degree in speech/English and a master's degree in secondary education/reading improvement from Central Michigan University. He earned his Ph.D. in curriculum and instruction from the University of Wisconsin at Madison.
