Undergraduate Research
The opportunity for students to conduct research alongside faculty and become involved in cooperative study is available. Students present papers on their research at regional and national meetings and publish their work in respected chemical journals.
How to Apply
Students of a sophomore or higher standing with a GPA of 2.75 or above are eligible to apply to the program. Students must have their project approved by a faculty mentor and the student must be enrolled as a full time undergraduate during the project. If you are interested in participating in the program, please visit the Undergraduate Research Program website or talk to your department advisor or any individual professor with whom you would like to explore a research topic. Chemistry Club

Chemistry students explore opportunities in their field through the American Chemical Society Student Affiliates, a student-run organization that sponsors activities such as chemical demonstrations at area elementary, middle, and high schools; seminars by scientists from industry and academia; tours of industrial research laboratories; and more.
